5 Years SPECIAL TRAINING/EDUCATION Instead of going to a traditional beauty school, I did a two year apprenticeship and training program. I have worked behind the chair for 3+ years doing cuts, color, corrective color, styling, and formal styling. I have worked with 5 different color lines throughout my career. SPECIALIZATION My specialization is in colors services, specifically Blondes & Extensions. I am certified in Bellami Hair Extensions, K18, and continue attending classes every chance I get. I love blonding and color services, as well as extensions! I have a real passion and a curiosity about how color works, and I like to keep my clients educated throughout the service as well. I learn something new every single day. I also have a passion for creating styles and looks that work day to day, by asking questions about how you wear your hair every day, your hair texture, life style, etc. I love to make my clients feel beautiful no matter what the service is. I put a lot of emphasis on the blow out, or the “finished product”. I love the outdoors and gardening, I also have an extensive home plant collection. I am such a bookworm. I love fashion! WHY I LOVE WORKING AT SALON U I love working at Salon U because of proximity! I live very close to the salon. I love downtown Lake Orion, I grew up on these streets and it’s really special to me that I am a part of the community. Everyone at Salon U is so kind and understanding, which helped my transition here to be smooth and welcoming. I know my clients will be taken care of and treated with respect. |
